Child Safety

Our safeguarding promises

• Parent-owned. Every child profile is created and controlled by a verified parent or guardian. Children do not have logins.
• No public profiles. A child's profile is private. Only the parent can choose to share it with named coaches or schools.
• No direct messaging. There is no DM, chat or stranger-contact feature in the platform.
• No third-party ads. No behavioural advertising or trackers are placed against a child profile.
• Age-appropriate content. Questions, language, role-model spotlights and challenges are tailored to the child's age tier.

The five age tiers

• Rookie (3–4). Observation-only. Parent answers on the child's behalf.
• Prospect (5–7). Parent reads each question aloud. Child taps an emoji.
• Rising Star (8–11). Child answers independently. Light reflection.
• Contender (12–15). Deeper reflection. Identity and values surface here.
• Pro (16–20). Self-administered. Career and pathway focus.

Reporting a concern

If you ever spot something that worries you about how a child is being treated on the platform, email safeguarding@thesportsacademy.co.ke. We triage every report within 24 hours.
